The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
People will believe whatever they want to believe, but it should come into question if it causes more harm than good. Some people truly believe things, but the idea of it scares them and leaves them better off not believing it. Many of these beliefs are better off not existing in the human zeitgeist, and yet, they still have follower today. If you say that god does not exist and that the aliens are manmade, you will still have someone claim an opposite agenda. There is no doubting that humans have a tendency towards conspiracy, but conspiracy is fed by ignorance. These are the 10 whackiest conspiracy theories people still believe in.
—
The list could be endless, as the reaches of human misconception travel far beyond the veil of truthful existence. You and anyone else willing to try cannot change the permeative likelihood of some crackpot theory entering another person’s head. When push comes to shove, opinions inform what you have to be willing to fight for. If you happen to be on the wrong side, then you are simply a part of the problem. Also, if you simply change your principle when it, then you are doing no good for the actual cause. There is plenty more where this came from, but these certainly top the list. These are the 10 most widespread conspiracy theories still talked about by humans today.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
1. There is a God
Anyone with a brain understands that religion is a farce, but some people still struggle to keep up. Even though religions have been around for thousands of years, the facts have been around for longer. The fact is that religion is a human construct of control that has held on for far too long. It is not to say that a god could not exist because of religion’s disgusting play, but knowledge informs the rest. If the confidence is not there to begin with, then people will suffer what the status quo has fed them since birth. This is the fight we are all up against, even if you are one of the people who thinks that a god created you. Since our conditioning is so deeply seeded during childhood, there is little hope for most of humanity.
—
While some people are good critics of movies and art pieces, they struggle to have the same scrutiny for life. The more we try to keep up with it’s religious grasp, the more the truth can slowly seep into our experience. To state that we can never know only puts more obligation on the ones making an absurd and unseen claim. It is also up to us to clean the tainted waters that make up our thoughts, making the floor all that harder to see. If the proof is on the one making the claim, then the proof should be on everyone to enforce. This belief comes from a human tendency that overly states a human involvement in everything. The conspiracy involves a humancentric view of reality that can only be broken by weakened rationality.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
2. The World is Flat
This goes hand in hand with religion, but some people end up taking their fun a little too far. The world is flat, but it is only flat because of an ignorance unbeknownst to oneself. There is someone’s god out there who created a circle and flattened it to create earth. He may have even sprinkled the night sky with stars like on the ceiling of some cathedral. If it rains, then this is gods way of showing us that he is upset and crying because of our failures. There are negative associations tied to just about everything, and no wonder we are all fooled to some degree. Some people even like to believe things because it is cool, which is no different than a nerd who likes to play videogames.
—
Religion is vice for people to attach to through hardship and misdeed. The more someone has sinned, the more they will fall back on the original sinner. Just because the desire is there, does not make the end result all the more worth it. If we are going to fully develop our brains into a fully functional sphere, then we have to lose the flat surface.
—
This is something that is lacking in the average human mind, and the result is obedience to a false authority. If being submissive to anything but the truth is a typical human gesture, then we will not have the ability to fight the truth right. In the end, it just shows that people want to feel as though things are as simple as they are. If we cannot do anything about it, then there must be a projected meaning where they do not need the control.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
3. Everyone is a Reptile
As stupid as it sounds, there are actual people who believe that the world is run by an alien race. There are true humans, and then there are aliens and reptiles. They have been waging war for years, but no one is privy to it. If someone knows about it, they are like you or are part of the problem and should be avoided. Even if it seems to dumb for people to believe this, it is still a very common conspiracy theory. The people believing may not think so, but like any human, they will believe what makes them feel better. The problem with conspiracy theories is that people are afraid to admit them. It is similar to paranoia, as conspiracy theories involve keeping them secret to avoid theoretical backlash.
—
Almost everything someone believes is typically verified by everything else because of an ulterior agenda at play. In a sense, this is good because of people not espousing their wild beliefs for everyone to know. Unfortunately, this happens all to often for things that are true, and the wacky people end up getting away with causing secret damage. The good you can gain is that at least to crazy people are less likely to go to conventions for this ignorant theory. It adds a sense of intrigue to existence that can otherwise excite their boring existences. If we did not have anything to feel mysterious about, then what would be the point. To add anything else about this ridiculous theory is like giving something obnoxiously stupid a place to play.

4. The Illuminati is Real
The whole idea of a one-world government frightens many people, but the idea of it’s grandmasters is even scarier. People believe that there are a bunch of rich people behind closed doors controlling everything. They tend to make it out like some cool story they can tell without understanding their own obliviousness. Although you may even think that you are sane, you may actually be a kook.
—
The illuminati is real, but people would rather it be a mystery to unfold than an actual and obvious fact. There is mysticism in these claims, but the fact that a bunch of rich people are controlling everything is all too true. It is a storybook case of the truth hiding in plain sight, as anyone can use it as proof of more. While there is no ground to stand on, the claims they make about humanity are displayed more in themselves.
—
At this point, it only goes to show that the truly dumbest of us still find reason in this theory. It has not aged too well, but there is still grace in the stories it tells that stand in the background. It is a conspiracy theory that has it’s faults, but it stands on it’s own without merit. There are a lot of billionaires controlling the strings of the politicians, but it is not so profound.
—
The illuminati does not stand for much, but it said to have started back in the 1700s. There are some theories that date this claimed power even earlier than that. When push comes to shove, you can pretty much make anything about just about anything else. It simply goes to show that people will create and begin to believe theories that keep them fighting for more. The sad fact is that they would rather not fight it, as dreaming about it is better.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
5. We Have Been Visiting by Aliens
People will believe anything as long as it seems somewhat plausible, but even the most believable things are unlikely. This is related to aliens or extraterrestrials, as humans want to believe that we are not the only ones to exist. Since we are here, then why should we believe that we are the only ones around. Although we have never actually seen anything, we can at least hope for the possibility of life on other planets.
—
As you can see, most people rely on wishful thinking to make their claims against the detractors. If all else fails, then they can rely on you going too far by saying that you have just as little proof as they do. This means that we cannot know until it happens, but since it is never going to happen, we can wait forever for the answer. We can believe all we want that UFOs are real, but they were nothing more than aircraft. We can also believe that Area 51 houses alien lifeforms, but in reality, they were never there.
—
The same thing applies to things like Pascal’s wager, where you might as well at least try to convince the stupid god of your faith. Fermi’s paradox implies that there is little likelihood of ever seeing alien life, because where have they been so far. There are all sorts of ways around this claim, but all of them have essentially been tested. When it comes down to it, we have never been visiting by aliens, and there has never been proof of said life.
—
At this point, it is pretty safe to assume that life on other planets is less likely to exist, at least life close to us. It is stated that this wishful thinking is much stronger than the salient logic that exacts otherwise. The neuron is proof enough, as it’s existence is the only way for life to ever exist. There is no other answer to life, and there are no other cells to create. It is not only rare, as it is so rare that it probably only happened one time because of it’s inherent improbability.

6. Humanity Has a Future
While anyone can have a philosophy, the big picture should involve more than a simple opinion. There is a point to doing philosophy, and it can be something that relates to the truth. Some of us care to think of our future, while others of us are living day by day thinking little of our own mistakes. While the notion seems fruitful, you need to look in your past to stop the future from repeating the same. Most people avoid doing this thinking, and it helps the future to suck more.
—
The problem here is that humanity really does not have much of a future, as there is little left to accomplish. We can make our lives easier in small ways, but where does it ultimately end. It will end at some point, but there will always be some incremental improvement to make. There is still a little time left, but how long before it all gets out of control. The fruits of our labor will have been wasted for an end that was only needed because we were here to begin with.
—
The thoughts a human has on a daily basis rarely consider any nuance in our function. People even believe that the vaccinations we are getting now are going to turn us into superhumans. If this is not dumb enough, then white people thinking that Hispanics and black people are trying to wipe them out will do. There are too many theories to list, but this is indicative enough to understand human stupidity. We will all be dead some day, and humanity will end, but the comfort that is so worth it now is wasted.
—
To find every flaw would be a huge waste of time, as humanity as a whole likes to act in herds. The herd mentality is real, but we all end up in herds when events that truly mean something occur. If we end up having an end, will it be a war of ideas or a silly mistake. Instead of curing things like cancer, we are focused on rockets going to space or mars. People hate focusing on the negative, but the negative is what got us here to begin with.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
7. Mythical Beasts Exist
Everyone has heard of mystical beasts such as the Loch Ness monster and sasquatch, but there are people who actually believe in them. While it could be as simple as a hairy homeless man walking in the woods, others think that it is real. There are even people who get off on creating controversy and pretending to see something that was never there. This is different than people dressing up as a unicorn, but the difference is ever so slight.
—
The same thing goes for ghosts, where someone’s friend decided to move a chair with a string to make it appear to move on it’s own. They person filming may not even know, but it amounts to a Halloween maze at a theme park. These things can affect the human psyche enough where can viscerally react to things. This reaction can create more believability in these things to others and ourselves.
—
We can all know better, but our fear can still get the best of us while walking down a spooky road. We can wishfully think that aliens exist, but to believe in ghosts has always had a better explanation. It comes down to ignorance of the desired past and the believability of nonsense in the present. We never learned, because we were too busy praising the people before us who knew little better.
—
There are no creatures out there with these qualities, but the known nature can certainly get close enough. At this point, just look at a platypus and claim that you saw a beaver-duck beast walking on water. The point being that ignorant people would hear it, not know any better, and actually believe it even more.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
8. Scientists Know Better
This is one of the most wildly accepted theories out there. It’s maddening, but even though it’s not quite a conspiracy theory, it should be. Although enough people believe it and do not call it a conspiracy, it does not make it unlike the others. There are scientists out there who claim to know so much, and they know so little. They claim to be intelligent, but they fall for the same crap as a kindergartener. Since most people defer to science as the answer, they should also realize just how misled scientists are as well. People of the science are still humans, and with this come a lot of wishful thinking.
—
To think that time is relative is a misconception, but scientists still will have you believing it. Even though we can understand that an obvious perception of time is in our head, we can make it grander. If we cannot project our wishful thinking out into the universe and solve it, then what problem is there left to figure out. We are all living for the next big thing, but since there is nothing, it leaves life having little meaning. This is why people become nihilists, because why not feel pointlessness in an empty existence. Although religion is dumber, a scientist can sound just as dumb as a religious person.
—
Some people are just too ignorant to understand what a scientist is saying. This will lead a person to believe a congruent and even wackier theory that catches on to the average joe. Although a scientist is simply theorizing with hypothetical misgivings, a person will claim it’s truth. We only have ourselves to blame, but Neil DeGrasse Tyson would have you looking at the stars for truth. If you claim to have respect for the scientific method, then begin to show it more. While anyone can claim a whacky theory, just as many people can claim how you are wrong in an incorrect way.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
9. There is an Afterlife
There is no afterlife no matter how you take a crack at it, but this stops no one on their way. Even though it is untrue, the thought of it can certainly be comforting. Unfortunately, people look for comfort in all of the wrong places for all the wrong reasons. It can be the most blatantly incorrect belief, even if the concept can bring a tear to their eyes. While the concept of an afterlife can keep people in line, it is certainly not the only or best way to do it. There are better ways to reach the obvious and conclusive facts, but people tend to take the detours.
—
The problem comes down to parenting and culture, where objectivity takes a backseat ride on the objective road to nowhere. While a parent’s intentions can be good, raising a child is way too difficult. There are too many things that can go wrong, even if you think you are doing the right thing. Some parents think that abusing their children is good, and other parents can do everything correctly. There is so much to understand about reality in terms of the relationships things have.
—
It boils down to wishful thinking, and it makes it one of the most toxic and widespread conspiracies around. The strange thing is that people tend to believe in this afterlife when life hands them strife. They will still believe in judgement, even when a god is not in their personal picture. There are even people who make excuses to do bad things because they think they will wake up on the other side. People are open to way too much, so you have to expect some poop to be lodged in somewhere.
—
Since humans are problem solvers, we are here to look at problems to fix them. As strange as it seems, this is all you have been doing your whole life. It is also true that some people do problem solving better. An afterlife is our answer to the survival question, but the survival and fear of death is the actual answer. The unfortunate truth is as ironic as an obsessive person cleaning the dishes too much by breaking them. The next time you leave it open to possibility, you are essentially discrediting yourself in every way. Even though we can arrive at the same conclusion with a different combination of facts, the facts are still limited.
The 10 Whackiest Conspiracy Theories
10. Everything is Subjective
We can all bicker about who obviously killed John F. Kennedy, or we can choose to look at more common and consequential beliefs. These common beliefs tend to get ignored because of their picture being too big and lacking in the two-bit drama typically involved. There is a conspiracy that has people believing that everything is subjective, but the world is anything but subjective. If you have not noticed, you are living in a real world that can ultimately be regarded as objective. While this can be seen as a strawman, there is no better way to describe the denial.
—
None of us can truly understand that life is not some kind of subjective; however, the the fools would have you thinking otherwise. There is an easy truth out there, but it doe not involve there being no truth. The more we indulge in these theories, the more we are avoiding what can ultimately be seen as a win. This applies even more so to the smaller theories out there, but who cares. These theories are distractions, as they tend to keep people looking at baby drawings.
—
There is nothing you can take away from reality, but this reality can certainly take something away from you. We are all here looking for some kind of purpose, but the purpose is ultimately in understanding the truth. If we cannot even do this, then we are wasting why we are here to begin with. While this may not be a good read for someone wanting seedy controversy, it still has it’s place. There is fun to have in sasquatch, but it is more about placing emphasis on truth.
