YouTube can be a place of wonder or disgust. If you’re looking to learn, you may have to look a little deeper. Although there are channels out there dedicated to educating an audience that are popular, they’re few and far between. I’m simply going to list a guide to help you find some of the best online video educators on various different topics. There will some amazing educational YouTube channels to watch listed here.
YouTube has a way of making most comment creators even dumber.
Even though they may have a political or non-“religious” slant, they’re worth it if you want to actually learn a thing or two. This is also here to help you discover a couple of the more obscure channels as well. Adhering to this, I’m going to list below five educational YouTube channels definitely worthy of checking out.
Educational YouTube channels to watch…
Inmendham
If you want to learn a thing or two about philosophy, science, finance and the economy, there’s no better person than this channel. Inmendham covers a plethora of topics ranging from the topics listed above to human rights issues, including topics of anti-natalism and so on. He also typically uploads under Draft Science, which is his sister channel dedicated to science (mostly physics). Beyond this, he also has a channel dedicated to separate uploads via archiving on Inmendham Videos. If you want to watch someone who knows what they’re talking about, look no further.
He’s not a narcissist, he’s just angry at all life for existing in agony via chemistry based biology through the process of evolution.
Not only does Inmendham make things easy to understand, he makes complex ideas fairly easy to understand. Just be warned, if you want to share an imbecilic opinion, he may not accept any stupidity, so try to show some respect. It’s not too often you find someone online willing to share their unabashed opinion about life, let alone on YouTube. Dr. Eric Berg
Although not nearly as obscure as the previous channel, Dr. Eric Berg is a channel dedicated to physical health and science. The channel is named after the of the name of the channel, Dr. Eric Berg. Dr. Berg used to be a practicing chiropractic doctor, but now he shares medical knowledge concerning the body and health online.
Fasting, nutrition and keto, oh my!
The channel covers various topics ranging from dieting, fasting, at home remedies, and the application and description of specific vitamins and minerals. Even if some of the information and advice may seem like pseudo-science, it’s driven by facts. If you want to watch someone who has a working knowledge of medicine and health, be sure to check him out.

The Young Turks
If you like progressive political commentary, you don’t have to search past The Young Turks. The Young Turks is a sociopolitical news talk show founded by Cenk Uyger, Ben Menkiewics, and Dave Koller in 2002. The premise of the show is simple: a circuit of hosts talking about the latest news with a left-wing, but hard-left liberal slant. The show is typically hosted by Cenk, Ana Kasparian, and John Iadarola. The network endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016 and 2020.

Even though I’m not a big fan of the hosts in particular, the overall message is what gets them on this list. It’s considered the helping hand and only news media covering progressive political media without a negative, projected media bias. They are also co-founders of the current progressive movement, often competing with the television news media. If you want to watch actual fair and honest news, you should give them a good and honest try.

If you want to extend your viewership beyond the main channel, there are plenty of sister channels to watch in their multi-channel network that are even better. Starting with TheDamageReport hosted by John Iadarola, which follows many of the queues from The Young Turks. In addition, Secular Talk, The Hill, and Rebel HQ follow similar strategies in covering course political media. Even if they all occasionally share the occasional really dumb opinion or assertion (including The Young Turks), they are worth a mention for a good reason. If you don’t mind a democratic slant to your news to also help a mass-movement, check them out.
Crazy Russian Hacker Is an Educational YouTube Channel to Watch (YouTube Channels to Watch)
If you’re looking to find some interesting gadgets to use and how to use them, look no further than CrazyRussianHacker. Another channel that probably needs little introduction thanks to having nearly 12 million subscribers.
Yeah, there’s not much to say about this guy except that he used to swim and is actually from the Ukraine.
The guy isn’t a spy, but he does create some interesting content on his latest online order to share with his viewers. While not necessarily as informative as the other channels, it does go down as understanding just experimentation. Hey, you’re along for the discovery!
The Infographic Show Is an Educational YouTube Channel to Watch Best (YouTube Channels to Watch)
The Infographic Show is an online animated web series that covers various topics using cartoon visualizations to tell it’s story. While many of the topics are typically simple thought experiments, the daily uploads don’t lack merit or entertainment value. The channel covers topics from history to medically based pseudoscience. Just be aware that not everything you learn on here may not be necessarily true.
The doctor damned the facts. Wise words, Doctor. He will damn the facts.
Given the point of the channel, it’s not to be blamed. Many of the uploads are anecdotes and specific in scope, but who’s to say personal experience can’t help. While it may not be the absolute best channel for learning in particular, it certainly covers on all fronts. If you’re looking for a little bit of fun mixed with history and intrigue, check out this channel or other similar channels online.
