At the same time, the people who spread this ‘elitist’ message are also on the leash because of their blatant use of modern-day lingo and style. Unfortunately, if anyone is going to truly ruffle any feathers of anyone who actually matters, then it’s going to have to be from a true outsider. (It’s not going to be Mr. Joe ‘Edgy’ on the internet who is exclaiming a half-assed truth.) Although, it’s not to say that insider information doesn’t count, of course! It’s certainly useful … for some people; it shows that people display duplicity even though they think that they don’t. Activism has gotten out of control; however, who’s to say that their message is wrong. (The ‘message’ can be missent by the messenger, but it doesn’t take away from it showcasing a decent, well-adjusted “cause.”) However, it’s not just the modern day, as it’s everything that’s existed up to this point, too. To be fair, it’s what we exist in, and it makes it all the more obvious because of social and corporate appropriation. Unfortunately, if the staunch racism and multiculturalism wasn’t enough, then it boils down to pigeonholing everyone into a particular archetype. When this is over, everything becomes lost in a sea and/or void of nonsensical confusion between good or bad intentions and the cause. So, would you rather be decent, or would you rather take your activism to a fanatical level? That’s the question you must ask, and it’s been asked in multiple occasions: feminism, black lives matter, and immigration. It’s also on everyone to understand the merits of the cause without becoming too burdened by personal taste.

Everyone seems to believe in just about any and everything these days, and it’s exactly why we’re devolving into an overindulgent & wasteful “ideocracy.” Unfortunately, because of this incessant stupidity, we’ve decided to turn science into a new religion and religion into a new and “marketable” pseudoscience. (It’s not just about important ideas and subjects, because it’s turned everything into an endless, pointless, and contentious discussion about physics, chemistry, and our biological origins.) Also, people are pretending like they have the answers (pretention and/or confidence), but it’s only because their favorite search engine told them so … . What gives, right? At the same time, information is everywhere, and it should be able to keep the misinformation at bay! It’s just too bad that we have to deal with the corporate version of what passes for the truth now, as the new scientists and “informers” tell us what is and isn’t true! And not only are we enabling it, but the smart ones are concocting it, too!

4. The Narcissism
Narcissism has been around for millennia; however, we should also be aware of how we’ve become so pathetic in how we display it. (Why should you not take numerous selfies, shamelessly self-advertise, and display how little actual respect you have for yourself and others around you.) Of course, we all have our reasons, but our rationalizations are never good enough to justify our crude and nigh-unsettling behavior. (We can be more “understanding,” but it’s simply gotten a lot worse!) And every time you try to stand out from the crowd, there are likely people out there who you undermine. They also likely have a bit of those traits that you think they don’t have. however, we must validate our own emotions to thinking that we’re that much different. They have no better way to ‘cope,’ so they decide to show their brand loyalty on their shirts or dress attire. Why not dislike it and point it out for the behavior it is, even though we can fix it. However, can we actually fix it? Does this make it any less obnoxious to deal with!

5. The Style
If the world wasn’t already ending, then it’s likely near its end at this point. “How come?” you humbly and generously ask. Well, there’s always a problem with the beliefs of people in just about every generation, but some are worse than others, i.e., generation Z and alpha. These ‘braindead’ morons, a.k.a. the online/internet generations, seem to flicker themselves towards the aspects of irony that they themselves spin. In fact, it’s almost like a web that’s leaning towards others without having any realization of the duplicity they speak; it’s getting a lot worse. Of course, the styles ‘grift’ left and right to please the “highest bidder” while they also circle-jerk each other with their latest and greatest ‘takes.’ (The word usage amongst the younger generations is always veered towards obnoxious lingo, but it’s gotten significantly worse.) Not only that, but you can expect them to dress like their millennial and generation X parents! Yes the world is full of sarcasm, but it’s also full of other things: braids, torn jeans, etcetera.

6. The Hivemind
Other than being flagrant with the truth or “shilling” for the latest and greatest ‘self-insert’ or something of the like, people tend towards adopting some kind of lousy and/or unconventional mindset. Additionally, the latest ‘fads’ tend towards subjective forms of frivolous narcissism and/or incessant bickering about what their personal truth is. (In all honesty, people now have more reason to have the truth, but they still tend towards a group-selective of mishmashes that do not align with each other.) They then join the latest club that is either with or against the current convention, and they then base their personal beliefs off of them. (Humans and other animals are mostly “social,” right?) Now, this can be seen as a simple rant that pertains to taste, but it’s certainly more than that! And, the truth is, most people do not think for themselves — it’s quite unfortunate. Like flies on shite, they buzz towards the latest manifesto or conspiracy theory that makes their life more impactful, purposeful, and pleasingly interested.

7. The Blame Game
The worst part about being here and alive — the living game — is that you will have to deal with a plethora of ‘personal problems’ caused by other “living and breathing” individuals. (It’s obviously a zero-sum game no matter how you look at it, but other people tend to make this a lot more obvious.) Hell, you may even become confused by everyone’s willingness to take advantage of you — your worth and expectations are thrown out of the window! (It never ends there, obviously.) Not only that, but you may also find that everyone is willing to make you their ideal scapegoat. Of course, at least for the most part, it’s either an issue of personal responsibility or blaming everyone around you (e.g., pigeonholing the opposition). (The rules of life are simply too difficult to figure out, i.e., ethics or social philosophy.) Unfortunately, we’re all driven by a tribal mentality that allows us to use our friends and eradicate our enemies. Anecdotes be damned! With this in mind, the average bloke can display frivolity and extremism.

8. The Food
I’m all for going vegan (or vegetarian) and the reasonable cause of letting go of eating meat products as a whole; however, the way that these activists go about it is impressively unpleasant. (To them, it’s about health or a political movement.) Unfortunately, that isn’t it, as there are the also the “soy-boy” manufacturers that push an absurd message. They’re all different in the same way, but the pretentious placating and gatekeeping that exists within the zeitgeist of culture creates an “edgy” subculture of vehement defenders of meat-eating. It’s the only world they exist in, and it’s the only thing that they truly understand. And, at this point, it creates an opposition that everyone jumps into without a single display of originality. (It’s all they know & dictate!) It also means that a belief system is predicated on a notion that others are simply faking an extreme opinion. In fact, their little world is a microcosm of the problems that impede modern culture to the point of everyone missing the point or becoming a stereotype.

9. The Culture
What passes for the truth in the current day is shameful, but it’s also a reason to reflect on our standards. (The cultural zeitgeist and its values always have to be considered; they’re based on a lot of things.) Of course, we can always use (young) people’s low standards for music and artistic value as well, and it would certainly be warranted, too. It’s just that it’s all been said before, correct? And the truth is that the modern-day hacks (new & old) have decided for us what is good, bad, and a waste of time. Thinking? No, we can do without that, unless you want to think about the next big purchase you will make on the Amazon storefront. “We’d probably want you to simply hand over as much money as possible without thinking, but we’ll give you some time,” says the “marketing team.” I mean, it’s been run by corporations since the dawn of the 20th century, and before that it was something even worse. In the end, is this the best that we got, or are we playing the fiddle to the fading bagpipes? You ask yourself that one!

There’s plenty to insult about every country’s culture and how the modern-bug has bitten them (in the same way). However, at times, you simply have to look at the actual issue, the modern-day or not. (Everything on here is about people’s ability to think, be it their intelligence or smarts/knowledge [street and book smarts] on a relatable subject.) And, unfortunately, no matter what, people may find reason to disrespect you and insult your intelligence.) It’s almost like a person claiming they understand your problems before casting you out as weird — the aspersions, accusations, assumptions, and assertions. You’re simply another stranger they can undermine with their godforsaken problems that are chocked up as excuses and rationalization. After all, people think more with their emotions than with their brain, but that’s also because there’s very little brain to begin with. And to make matters worse, the spokespeople are also absurdly redundant and worse as a contrived voice of good to relay the same problems.

Everyone is simply “butthurt” that their “chooms” are living inside of an echo chamber without a clue as to what is going on. Of course, information and ideas are one thing, but personality (i.e., demeanor, behavior, and habit) is another, entirely.
