The 10 Ways That Your Mind Can Fail
As you can see, our minds our constantly inundated with information, and, at times, our brains can become overwhelmed. This is obviously not ideal, and our preferences can often exacerbate our state of mind with great speed and/or exaggeration. Of course, we can always consider how our mental health as a whole can become relevant, but this doesn’t mean that we’re completely and/or utterly miserable. If this frightens you though, then you can always precure a method of rehabilitation. However, with this in mind, there’s room to believe that we should have some control or awareness over this situation. This, unfortunately, doesn’t always happen, and we’re often there to sit through the suffering until it’s all over. In spite of this, these are the 10 ways that you mind can fail you if your brain hasn’t already.
The 10 Ways That Your Mind Can Fail
1. Anxiety
When we have an irrational worry, we’re often considered anxious or even paranoid. Of course, this comes down to a pathological syndrome, i.e., mental disorder, but most average people deal with these negative emotions on a daily basis. This feeling can arouse all kinds of problems, and it can even lead us to our deaths, at least inadvertently. Although, if this sounds rather extreme (or scary), then we have to understand how something like anxiety can create problems. It can come in the form of nightmares, or we can even daydream about some of our worst fears coming true. Or, perhaps, we can do something about this, but we’re already at least trying to improve our game by coping already. The only issue is that it requires a lot of work, and as we all know, working against the irrational is quite the challenge.

2. Forgetfulness
If we’re going to talk about the mind, then we have to discuss it as a byproduct of our brain. In fact, our brains can go through specific amounts of pain and struggle, or they can go through periods of forgetfulness. However, this “not remembering” is a syndrome of the brain no matter what, as collecting and storing data (information) can be cumbersome; it’s rather finite. “Why is this the case?” you ask. Well, it comes down to our brains not being particularly utilized to take advantage of every facet of reality — the world is not that easy to understand (or our oyster). If we’re to look at this even further, then we can take a look at some examples, including brain farts, déjà vu, and even neurological events. Of course, things can become needlessly complicated, and this is a factor that lays latent in our existence.

3. Depression
Although many of these reactions are somewhat natural, they are still worth mentioning because of their relative importance. Of course, one of these issues includes depression, which is almost seen as the inverse of anxiety. (These [mental illnesses] are often comorbid, and they have fairly strong associations with each other.) However, we can also see how these issues tend to compound each other — they’re often conflated, too. This isn’t necessarily good; though, it can lead to people to take action towards the betterment of their mental health. Afterall, the brain is forged for survival, but it doesn’t mean that it’s always working with extreme efficiency. In spite of this chicanery, there are multiple ways to think about the so-called problems of the mind that come in all forms, be it for mild or extreme cases.

4. Psychosis
When it comes to mental health and our ability to understand the difference between fiction and reality, psychosis obviously comes to mind, first and foremost. Unfortunately, there’s no telling if you’re going to end up struggling with this problem, as latent disorders like schizophrenia can be hard to detect and conform with. Furthermore, this abhorrent mental state can come in the form of delusions or hallucinations; paranoia is often an uncategorical characteristic as well. There are various forms of psychosis, but the end result is often very similar. It seems as though I’m simply going over psychology damage or mental health issues our mental health should always be of utmost concern. Otherwise, there are always ways to ease our psychotic problems, but it obviously takes a lot of treatment.

5. Confusion
As we speak to the differences between irrational fear and a distinct or terminal lack of motivation, we arrive at yet another — rather common — physical syndrome of the brain. In fact, if you, actually, happened to have landed on a drug before, then you may have dealt with some of these eerie and/or intimidating side effects. One of these symptoms may include delirium or even an inability to understand what is happening around you. Of course, this isn’t necessarily your mind faltering on its own, but there’s reason to believe that the side effects speak for themselves. Although, to make this even easier to grasp: Confusion can simply be a neurological reaction, or it can come from a simple misunderstanding. Regardless, we’re not here to delve into the minutia, of course, but it doesn’t hurt to try more.

6. Anger
When it comes to irrationality, there’s nothing more self-explanatory than the feelings that are created out of madness. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with your mind or body giving you a reason to fight back (adrenaline), and if anything, you have good reason to do so. (This anger is a mostly rational reaction that we have to feelings of unfairness or injustice.) Afterall, anger is a fairly ubiquitous feeling and reaction, but it matters how much you allow it to bother you. In fact, people can also become frustrated with their feelings of anger, creating a cycle of nonsensical proportions. However, we can also look at anger with eyes of discernment, making the entire reaction seem frivolous, at least at times. Furthermore, there is very little reason to hold back; it becomes worse the more that you hold it

7. Laziness
If we’re to delve into the neurological spectrum of symptoms or problems, then we must procure a sensible reason to mention the feelings of lethargy. Afterall, laziness is why most of are where we are, and there’s only reason to believe that we’re to blame. “Why so?” you ask. Well, even though determinism is real, we’re practically beholden to consequence — humans are mostly lazy. So, although most people do not like, we cannot evade our brain’s desire to procrastinate. However, when we look at this as a whole, we must also understand how laziness is about our actions. In fact, our brain is physical, and it controls the mind or vice versa. (Humans need all kinds of incentive to keep them going.) Of course, this feeling, given the circumstance, can be somewhat rational; however, it can often become carried away.

8. Dedication
Dedication is the precursor to desire, and there’s nothing wrong with showing some amount of motivation. As a matter of fact, we can say that, (possibly) as a whole, dedication is a good thing, at least for the most part. There may be problems with how toxic our desires may be, but this mostly comes down to stupidity. However, the things that we may be dedicated to may not be so fantastic, but this motivational feeling shouldn’t necessarily take the fall for a fool’s errand. Also, to some degree, we can be talking about addiction, as it serves as a response that our nervous systems have to excessive stimulus. In turn, this ends up creating a whole new selection of ways to describe this problem, including a lack of dedication or even feelings of trust. Although, it simply comes down to other components, too.

9. Attraction
When we find ourselves “attracted” to someone, be it for physical reasons or otherwise, we can see ourselves falling away to simple-minded futility. Of course, when we discuss attraction, we can say that everyone deals with it to some degree; however, this doesn’t make it rational or meaningful. In fact, it may actually be something called irrationality, and this is where the words of love can further manipulate us. (The circumstances of affection are loosely tied to circumstance, but they’re also tied to unfairness, ergo futile motivations and irrationality.) In spite of this, we’re not going to get caught up in the semantics or games of love and if it really exists! However, if we’re to consider our laziness and this mental state, then we can certainly understand what truly drives us, which involves attraction.

10. Illogic
Backing up into the arguments of imposition (arguing psychology instead of philosophy), we can understand that we should always be internally consistent. “How so?” you ask. Well, it can boil down to understanding that we are allowed to think horrible things but also contradict this thoughtless crime with a concerted effort towards improving ourselves. Although, if you believe some whacky stuff, then you should also be able to reinforce it with your actions. However, there are times where we can see ourselves fall to hypocrisy without any sort of effort. Then again, we struggle to find the truth, albeit a decent enough one. Regardless, we obviously need motivation through a lack of need, and most of this is simply the circumstances of reality that are at odds against our dubious and learned psychologies.

Ending
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to actually break down the mind, both literally and figuratively speaking. Of course, there are so many things to discuss, as the brain has multiple ways to regularly and/or perpetually fail us. Even though there is little that we can do to fix these failures for good, there are ways to mitigate the trouble that we can experience from them. There’s also this little thing called prevention that we can practice (which happens to be difficult for most people). Furthermore, our sentience is a byproduct of our specific brain structures, and our mind is the whizzing chalkboard of confusion. Even then, the hopes for us seem rather dismal, but why not try to understand it. Of course, this little dilemma is an excuse, but our reasons to do better are always at our personal behest.
