The 10 Websites With the Worst Search Algorithms
Every website that you can visit within the World Wide Web has it’s surprising ups (uncommon) and devious downs. This can range from their personal inventory of social media sharing characteristics to the means of which they use our lives to personalize ownership of private search results. Of course, not only will you be pleasantly educated on the ludicrousness of the online world, but you may learn a thing or two about how to overcome these shortcomings. Unfortunately, there are very few upsides to take advantage of, and the only thing that allows these websites to be good are the shortcuts they enable. Most of the websites we use have “earned” respect in large numbers In this stead, there is nothing that is much good about these websites, as their stapled success is the only thing driving them. Furthermore, these are the 10 websites with the search algorithms, among other issues … .
The 10 Websites With the Worst Search Algorithms
1. Google
*Worst Search Engine*
I’ve mentioned Google before, and they’ve earned their irrationally prestigious place, an undesirably high mark, on just about every list of mine related to the online world. Of course, their abuses are extensive, and their ability to justify their misuse through inaction towards positive change is acutely underestimated. In fact, not only are they attempting to “streamline” the internet, but they are also trying to make the internet a harder place to seek good, informative information. The way that they handle search results is not only irresponsible, but it’s also a place where those who desire control can strive. You will see what they want you to see, and those looking for a place to spread their hard work will only be thrown to the shadows. Afterall, everything they do is indecent and still happens to exist.

If you want to find something worthwhile, then do not use Google. Also, if you are not getting search results for your website, then you can blame Google. Just because they provide a platform for you does not mean that they are doing you a favor — understand this while using them.

2. Facebook
*Worst AI Controlled Algorithm*
If we’re to write a list about some of the worst places to seek information, including a use of an AI controlled algorithm, then Facebook is the subject. In fact, without their misuse and plagiarism, we would certainly not be in many of the places that we currently are, in a good way. For the most part, they are perpetuators of fake news, advertisement-based self-promotion, and other dubious methods of milking everyone of their money. Unfortunately, some people do not see it this way, as it is simply the price of running a business. However, to make this even more dysfunctional or interesting, we can also look at how they run their servers — they mask their banning process. Everything is completely arbitrary, and they even “hide” their rigid and draconian rules to keep their bigotries and biases in the shadows.

If you want to not get in bad cahoots with Facebook, then talking about them and their friends, like I am right now, is probably not a good idea. Well, I suppose that it’s too late for that!

3. Instagram
*Worst Derivative of Facebook*
Just like Facebook, Instagram is another one of these social media sites that hooks you in by the balls with false promises. In fact, Facebook acquired Instagram back in 2012, and they’ve been going downhill ever since this acquisition. To be fair though, they’ve always been “evil” and operated poorly. However, to avoid making this list a collection of the same points with different names, there have got to be differences. We can even argue how the existence of such social media possibilities has only created more of a problem for humanity as a whole. They have endless rights to abuse their abilities and privileges, and they create more issues in the long run. Many of the same creativities that plague Facebook are here as well, i.e., hashtag branding and poorly constructed abbreviations (acronyms that ruin language).

Well, at least now we have our photo knockoff of Facebook that is also owned by Facebook.

4. YouTube
*Worst Video Streaming Service*
If you want to talk about one of the worst websites for getting famous or paid, then look at YouTube. As a prime example, they certainly prove themselves with their incessant amounts of duplicity and laziness to do the right thing. Of course, not only are they the largest video sharing/multimedia website on the internet, but they’re also run by the almighty Googleplex. “Yes, but doesn’t this mean that they are simply a part of Google then?” you ask. Well, of course, but there is reason to include them all on their own. And, although it may be the only real option that we have right now, there is reason to understand how YouTube doesn’t do it’s job very well. In fact, they’re taking advantage of their spot — like just about anyone — to abuse the masses into a state of false security by ejecting you from their platform.
—
If you want to get big on YouTube, then avoid it! You’re more likely to find success on a lesser known, smaller platform. Why? Because there are far too many turds in that sea of crapola.

5. Pinterest
*Worst Use of Third-party Applications*
There’s reason to believe that Pinterest has gone down hill in the last several years, and it only seems to be getting worse. With one example leading to the next, we can only do so much to change how they function. You see, not only are they relying on “third party” apps to gain additional income, but they are creating features that do little to help their search algorithm. Just like every other website or app on this list, Pinterest is on a downward spiral, and the only ones paying for it are their consumers. Well, “their customers” would be more accurate, and they’re doing it in multiple ways. Why, how? Because they are stripping features away, leaving others helpless towards finding an audience, and giving you features that you never needed. This may seem harmless; however, there is very much to complain about.

If you want to spend another $9.99 during the month, on top of your other monthly subscriptions, then be sure to join Pinterest. They will finally give you the features that you will need to help yourself.

6. Twitter
*Worst Novel and Gimmicky Service*
As you can see, this list is going to devolve into a registry that mostly contains the internet giants over everything else — they’re the problem. Twitter is a part of this problem, and trying to get someone to track you or to net the results that you desire is difficult. Everyone is searching, and just like with Facebook and Instagram, you will find it hard to make a name for yourself, unlike the promises. Afterall, they are always the ones at the forefront, and they are always doing those “experimental” things that can ruin the online structure. Instead of destroying the fabric of the online world, especially with Elon Musk in charge, we should be attempting to fix things. Although, when it comes down to it, there are plenty of websites that have this problem, but the cause of the internet imbalance is more than that.

7. Yahoo
*The Second Worse Search Engine w/ too Many Ads*
Although Yahoo is nowhere near as bad as Google, they still run into issues that a lot of large companies crash into. Search results are often skewed, and understanding how to use the platform seems like a battle. When everything is all said and done, the corporate meritocracy is nothing but an issue for the average consumer, and the world is controlled by the top headlines. However, regardless of these insignificant issues, Yahoo had its problems from the start, but it’s also because they are no longer at the top. They were not willing to necessarily take the so-called risks that Google made; they weren’t there to ruin the internet intentionally. Unlike the likes of Twitter and Instagram though, they’ve yet to run into other issues, including the one-in-a-million hashtag hoax that has been plaguing the internet.
—
Well, they kind of need ads because of their lack of global impact, especially when compared to modern Google. Unfortunately, it’s probably never going to change, as Yahoo needs that moolah.

8. TikTok
*The Worst Knockoff of Twitter*
TikTok is a website that you should probably avoid visiting altogether; however, there are far too many people abusing the platform already. Over just a short period of time, the likes of this Chinese app swooped the average layman and took over the world. Although, strangely enough, people have been using this platform as far back as 2016, meaning that, depending on the circle, it has been around for a while. However, nothing all that interesting happens on there, and people tend to display whatever they want — people feel a need to display their fervent support of China. Of course, there is nothing wrong with supporting them, but people willingly and unwillingly support them to prove their lack of discrimination. Even then you simply have to list the websites that abuse one principle.

TikTok is the video knockoff of Twitter, which is also the texting knockoff of Instagram. Nothing special here … .

9. Spotify
*The Worst Music Sharing Service (and Apple [iTunes])*
At this point, this list probably seems like a collection of my least favorite websites: Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. However, this isn’t far from true, as many websites that abuse their users deserve nothing but distaste. What is one of these websites? Well, if we’re going to look at music sharing websites, then Spotify would be at the top of the list. They’re not only the largest audio streaming network, but they’re also supposed to be the leaders in payment. Unfortunately, they have led the world in copyright infringement accusations and poor monetary compensation. Even though they claim otherwise, this Swedish company chooses to make it hard for unrecognized artists to gain any sort of recognition. Although, in spite of this massive following, they do little to help others.

10. Amazon
*The Worst and Most Widespread E-Commerce Store Online*
When it comes to e-commerce websites, you will not find anyone but the pseudo monopoly that is Amazon. The marketplace isn’t so much an algorithmic disaster, but they’re everywhere; it’s hard to find anyone else to use. Of course, they’re in cahoots with Google and other search engines, making them the only place that offers visible inventory. It doesn’t even matter if they’re using third-party sellers or not, as they’re always getting their cut. Thankfully, if you know what and where to look, you can find something elsewhere, but do not always expect the largest internet electronics store to give you what you want, at least immediately. In fact, they have their struggles too, and most of these come in the form of a lack of common decency. How come? Because it’s not a part of their bottom line — their profits!
—
If you desire no other place to buy your products at some point in time, then keep going to Amazon. (Walmart is bad as well, but that’s an entirely different story). Other places have a website, but it’s not that big or necessarily bad. Also, it’s simply not their bread and butter.

The 10 Websites With the Worst Search Algorithms
Ending
In the end, this is simply an understandable list, and I’m sure that many of you will agree with the inclusion of most items included. Each item on this list has its own unique qualities, but they’re all mostly the same. For example, if Google is the worst at search results, they can still be bad at something else that Facebook does worse. Regardless, it really comes down to how important the website is and how bad their practices are when it comes to using their personal databases. They all use the same tactics, and the dumbest of people tend to make it to the top. However, if this isn’t the case for you, then you are certainly in the minority. Why? Well, it’s because the world revolves around breaking the rules of decency, and people who are in charge aren’t willing to do anything to challenge the power that they have.
