Although I am not necessarily attempting to deconstruct the English language, there is always a tiny, little room to find cause when tailoring its meaning. Of course, the reasoning behind our ability to communicate can always come under scrutiny and unwarranted mire. The worst part of it all is that we often choose to misconstrue others without any concern of intention or validation. Thankfully, people can willfully understand that they’re being destructive before they take anything too far. (We’re simply reactionary machines that use our reflexive brains to function.) In the end, what this really means is that we’re always trying to manipulate our environments to suit our own purposes. Even if we can “love” and/or care for someone, there’s always a string attached that’s in it for ourselves. And, in spite of this, we are capable of being self-aware enough to ‘change’ this habit into something less egregious. It’s just unfortunate that we often FUMBLE it all! However, these are the 5 things to understand about yourself … .

We are all the same in so many ways; however, the differences are still relative and huge.

The 5 Remarkable Things to Understand About Yourself
1. We Are Meant to Struggle
Understanding your personal limits is always important when you’re trying to resolve conflicts. However, it’s also true that many of what we consider our idiosyncratic hang-ups (our personal boundaries) are what hold us back or keep us persevering. Thankfully, it goes further than that, because it’s also what we use to overcome a lot of our insecurities. (Believe it or not, people and their brains are always on, and there always here to solve problems.) And this can also, inadvertently, help us in MANY “shituations” that involve a more defensive or cautious approach. Unfortunately, we’re also meant to struggle because of our biological makeup — it’s in our genes to suffer and overcome. There’s also the fact that we are always learning and thinking that makes us the perfect problem solvers. (Not everyone is an expert problem solver, unfortunately.) When it comes down to it, people are there to help you; however, they also serve to get in the way. For what it’s worth, we’re simply creating a problem and fixing it based on our needs … .

2. You Are Social
It may be true that people love to live in isolation; however, it’s also true that people love to socialize with other people. Be it humans or other group animals, there’s always some degree of sociality that goes on between other folks. Of course, a lot of this is built into our psychology through the many years of ‘social’ construction and evolution that we’ve endured! (The truth may be that people enjoy being social, but they also need to be around others for various reasons.) Although, it’s also a byproduct of the situations that we seemingly find ourselves in; there are simply too many people around! It’s not to say that we cannot ignore or avoid them, because there’s always room to evade the company of others. Regardless of this, it’s hard to say if people will always find a reason to avoid (or evade) others. Because, in the end, there’s always room to find someone else who is willing to make that difference in your life, right!? And it will likely always involve some kind or relationship, be it small or large. After all, it’s impossible to ignore!

3. People Are Never Not Thinking
As you should already know and understand, people have a tendency to think about things. It can be related to other emotions or feelings, be it depression or anxiety, or it can be caused by stress, excitement, or worry. Thankfully, we can turn all of this fluff into other stuff — we’re always thinking! Of course, it does not mean that we cannot “turn off” our brains. (We are very much capable of sleeping and shutting down, but we’re still thinking during our dreams, dissociations, etcetera.) However, it also means that our brain activity can quickly become overwhelming. (This obviously depends on the person and/or circumstance.) There’s also the issue that we’re often harder on ourself more that we are on others, which also means that we think about ourselves more than others. “What does this mean?” you questionably inquire. Well, it means that we’re often too self-absorbed to think about anything else but ourselves. And it’s just the beginning when you begin to realize that we’re only ever trying to make ourselves feel better!

4. Everyone is More Nurtured
If you find yourself being a part of the cruddy state of the status quo, then it is likely because you learned this certain set of skills from other people. (It’s the same old argument about nature versus nurture.) Of course, our nature and preconceived notions often come into play; however, some people are much more likely to find that who they’re around makes a bigger difference than who they actually are. Now, who we are is dictated by who and what we are surrounded by. Although, it should also be claimed that our behavior is often influenced by a lot of genetic factors. (Even if your parents are a**holes, this can also be a nurtured response that affected them as well.) People can obviously pass on a lot of these traits, but these so-called characteristics can cause a short-term effect on the self, too. And, if they are long-lasting enough, then they can become an uninterrupted aspect of a group of people that becomes an almost natured response. To be clear, it’s certainly within our nature to have specific boundaries to our reactions.

5. You Actually Suck
Believe it or not, you probably not that great of a person. Of course, this is an exceptionally NEGATIVE but subjective conceptualization to a lot of people. However, if we’re looking at the facts surround what the word can mean in this context, then it’s not that hard to fully understand. (We can “love,” but our love and compassion comes at the cost of being personally self-interested.) Now, if we are going to become needlessly esoteric and jargony when talking about the subject, then it’s important to mention relativity. Yes, it’s a negative thing; however, it’s also fairly easy to become enamored by it. (It can obviously become a lot better, but this is the hand that reality has given us.) To make this point even clearer, it should be understood that we can overlook this exception to the rule so that it can become “easier” to accept this situational awareness. Again, it boils down to our circumstances and the fact that we’re stuck having our own feelings. Just be aware that it is also true that we are capable of entertaining our notions with others.

Conclusion
This is not always the easiest thing to say, but there is always something that you or I are missing when it comes to understanding something fully. Of course, or mish-mashed perceptions can always play tricks on us by making us believe that there’s something more. While a lot of it is somewhat negative, it’s also a fairly way to perceive the truth that involves a lot of downfalls. (Our logical abilities play a role in understanding the truth around us accurately.) And it’s almost completely crucial for us to divide and/or categorize these things properly without the negative side effects overflowing us. In the end, being more self-aware is necessary if you want more self-actualization; however, it’s also something that can get in the way if you’re not properly prepared for what you have learned. (Yes, learning is a part of the process, and actively seeking it can certainly help.) For what it’s worth, you can always choose to internalize things differently than usual. Just be aware that the reconditioning process can be one hell of a b*itch! Have fun!
